Large Spotted Genet

The rarely seen Large Spotted Genet.

This Large Spotted Genet was seen around the ?Tholo dam? area in the north of the reserve during the night drive. He was very relaxed and allowed us to watch and take pictures to our hart?s content. Genets are almost never seen in the summer time as the vegetation is normally too thick. In the winter we are blessed with a few good sightings like this.
