In the Ranger’s Seat

Our team has been spending more time than ever in the bush. We thought we’d share some of our staff bumble highlights from the persective of the guys who know our reserve best – our guides. Enjoy!

Some of the smaller creatures of the the bush…

… and the larger ones.

It’s always a special game drive when we get to see the big cats, especially in the lush bushveld.

Always time to stop for a quick drink and snacks break.

The shepherd’s tree is often found in the drier parts of southern Africa. It is sometimes called the ‘Tree of Life’ as it offers shade and sustenance to both humans and animals in arid areas.

More of Madikwe’s famous elephants stopping to quench their thirst in front of the lodge.

We’ll always try and make sure you get the perfect sunset shot.

It’s always a pleasure to see the wild dogs on a game drive.

Another magnificent sunset in Madikwe.

Often you need to look down to see what’s really going on in the bush.
