Wild dogs

Wild dogs drinking at Tlou dam.

We had this very rare wild dog sighting at Tlou dam in the north west of the Madikwe reserve. This is the Dwarsberg pack, called after the mountain range the normally den in. The pack consists of 16 dogs at the moment. We are hoping to get a few new additions to the pack in the near future as the dominant female in the photo was already heavily pregnant.
